Scott Ashcroft

DIRECTOR

With nearly 10 years of experience in Veterinary recruitment, Scott is regarded as one of the leading specialists in the UK, working closely with all of the main charity and corporate organisations and helping to manage staffing levels with high quality vets and nurses.

 

In an ever changing industry, Scott spends a lot of his time with the various Veterinary Schools and Universities across the UK and offers help and advice to the students to ensure they are prepared for working life and he is currently involved in Post Brexit talks with the various organisations to enable overseas staff to continue to work in the UK with minimal disruption.

 

Outside of work, Scott has 3 young children, an old smelly Labrador and he plays league Badminton and Football.

Harry
Harry Walford

 Senior Recruitment Consultant

Harry joined the BVS team in July 2021 and in what is his first recruitment role has proved himself to be one of the best. He is hard working, caring, enthusiastic and a delight to work with.

 

Harry manages the home counties and East of England for Vets and Nurses and has built an excellent reputation for listening, understanding the needs of candidates and providing quality staff.

 

Out of work he is a semi-professional football player, family man and genuinely lovely guy.

OLIVIA JUDGE

Olivia joined the BVS team in March 2020 and has flourished into a wonderful consultant. She is friendly, helpful and has a genuine passion for the Veterinary industry. Olivia successfully manages locum and permanent roles in the South of England.

 

She is the proud owner of ‘Winnie’ a Romanian rescue dog, who is a fixture in the BVS office - known as our office dog.  Outside of work Olivia will be found in the gym, at her family’s lovely stables or hiking on beautiful Devon coastal paths with Winnie. 

 

Olivia is always on hand to offer impartial friendly support and guidance to candidates looking for a change in their career.

Eve made the move from the Scottish Highlands and after leaving her recruitment role with The Devon Wildlife Trust, she has joined the team with BVS.  

 

Eve is a natural at recruitment and prides herself on relationship building - she is an empathetic listener and loves supporting Vets & Nurses with their new roles.

 

Outside of work, Eve is restoring her boat which she lives on with her partner. They have two gorgeous guinea pigs called Autumn & Grey.

Billy Conabeare

Billy has great customer service skills after working for Mercedes Benz for 4 years and brings a diverse range of skills to BVS.

 

He enjoys working all hours to be on hand to help his Vets and Nurses. No challenge is too much for Billy and he’ll always go above and beyond.

 

Billy loves visiting different countries and in his free time enjoys playing football and taking his Labrador Minx for long, scenic walks.

Jess has joined the BVS team with years of previous sales experience across a wide variety of industries.

She has a naturally friendly demeanour, suiting the industry perfectly and ensuring all Vets & RVNs receive the highest level of care.

 

Outside of work Jess is an avid baker, an eager foodie and a regular gym goer. On the weekends she enjoys long walks with her partner and Cockapoo ‘Ronnie’.

Harry has been with the BVS since 2014 and is longest standing employee.

 

Harry joined the BVS on a Learn Direct apprenticeship and, after successfully completing her Cert RP, has undergone a thorough training process which has been highly beneficial to his development. He understands all aspects of the recruitment process and he is highly skilled in all areas.

 

He is a keen traveller and a massive foodie! He has a black Cat called Obie which he loves dearly.

Brad has joined the BVS team after 5 years in Health Care where is worked through the pandemic at The Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital in the orthopaedics ward. Brad wanted a change and has thrown himself into delivering an outstanding service in supporting Vets & Nurses with their new roles.

 

Brad is proud to offer the best advice to both clients and candidates and will often be working late into the night.

Outside work, Brad loves spending time with his 2 cats called Jasper and Bowie. He has a keen interest in the Gym and Tennis.
