Consult Veterinary Surgeon - Derbyshire - Evenings
Job description
A SA Hospital in central Derbyshire is looking for an Evening Consulting Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team. This role is purely consulting, ideal for a vet who enjoys client interaction and case continuity without surgical responsibilities.
This is a permanent, part-time position working approximately 20 hours per week over five weekday evenings (3:30pm–7:30pm). Theyare flexible and happy to discuss patterns that work for you.
The Practice
It is a busy, progressive 24-hour hospital with a highly skilled and supportive team:
- 10 Vets, including a Lead Vet and Business Partner
- 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a Head Nurse
- 5 Receptionists
Many of the vet team are certificate holders or currentlyworking towards certificates in dermatology, surgery, internal medicine, ECC,and ophthalmology.
Facilities include:
- Seven Consult rooms
- Separate Dog and Cat wards
- Three Sterile Theatres
- Dedicated Diagnostic suites and Dental facilities
- Digital X-ray
- Two staff rooms and more
