Location: Hampshire
Permanent | Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Farm Veterinary Surgeon to join a dedicated and supportive farm-only veterinary team in Hampshire.

This established practice works with a diverse and progressive client base, including large dairy units, commercial beef and sheep farms, camelids, and smallholders. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of clinical work, alongside opportunities to develop specialist interests in areas such as dairy consultancy and advanced reproductive services for cattle and small ruminants.

The successful candidate will join an experienced team of farm veterinary professionals supported by a knowledgeable office support team, TB specialists, and veterinary technicians.

The Role

  • Full-time position with a 4.5-day working week
  • Participation in a 1 in 6 on-call rota
  • Opportunity to work with a varied and progressive farm animal caseload
  • Exposure to consultancy and advanced reproductive work

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a motivated Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in farm animal practice
  • Enjoy building strong relationships with clients and working collaboratively within a team
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be enthusiastic about developing clinical interests and professional skills
  • Applications from experienced farm vets are welcomed, although recent graduates will also be considered
