An exciting opportunity for an experienced RVN to join a busy out-of-hours team at a well-regarded veterinary hospital in Somerset. Working in partnership with a dedicated regional emergency provider, you'll be part of a team delivering exceptional overnight emergency and critical care from a fully equipped, RCVS-accredited hospital.

The practice

• Busy veterinary hospital in Somerset with a small branch practice nearby
• Partnership with a dedicated out-of-hours emergency provider covering the wider region
• RCVS-accredited hospital fully equipped for emergency and critical care
• Friendly, supportive team with a genuine passion for animal welfare

The role

• Work alongside the night vet providing inpatient care and supporting OOH surgery and anaesthesia
• Supported by a twilight team member for appointments, triage and infection control
• Varied caseload including trauma, toxin ingestion, blocked bladders, GDVs, C-sections and more
• Rolling rota: 4 nights on, 7 off, 3 nights on, 7 off
• Shifts run 19:00–08:30
