Night Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: Merseyside
Job Type: Permanent | Night Shift

A busy and well-equipped 24-hour veterinary hospital in Merseyside is seeking a dedicated Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its experienced clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking to further develop their medical and surgical nursing skills within a supportive hospital environment.

Working alongside an experienced night veterinary surgeon, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional overnight patient care within a collaborative and progressive team.

The Role

  • Permanent night position
  • 7 nights on / 7 nights off rolling rota

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will be a qualified and RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. They will enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and thrive within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care throughout overnight shifts
  • Support consultations, surgeries and emergency procedures
  • Carry out nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities
  • Monitor inpatients and manage admissions and discharges
  • Maintain excellent clinical and operational standards
  • Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team
