Veterinary Surgeon (Part Time)
Location: Penzance
Permanent | Part Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive small animal practice in Penzance.

Located close to the seafront, this well-equipped practice is known for its high clinical standards, strong client relationships, and collaborative team culture. The practice places a strong emphasis on patient care, offering longer consultation times and excellent diary management to allow cases to be worked up thoroughly and to a high standard.

The successful candidate will join an experienced and welcoming team consisting of Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs, support staff, and dedicated reception and administration colleagues.

The practice is also recognised for its commitment to environmental sustainability and has achieved accreditation for its environmentally conscious initiatives, alongside RCVS Practice Standards accreditation.

The Role

  • Part-time position
  • 20–30 hours per week, with flexibility available for the right candidate
  • Shared Saturday morning rota
  • Varied caseload involving both consultations and surgical procedures
  • No out-of-hours responsibilities

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary of £30,000 – £45,000 pro rata, depending on experience
  • 6.6 weeks’ paid holiday including Bank Holidays (pro rata)
