Registered Veterinary Nurse - South East London

We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established practice in South East London.

You’ll be joining a supportive, friendly team made up of three vets, including the Lead Vet, who is currently working towards a certificate in surgery and has a strong interest in exotics. You’ll be fully supported by an experienced nursing team, a dedicated front-of-house team and a Practice Manager, allowing clinical colleagues to focus on delivering excellent patient care.

The Practice

The practice is finished to a high standard and is fully equipped to support high-quality clinical care. Set across three spacious floors, facilities include:

• Digital X-ray
• In-house laboratory
• Ultrasound
• Three consult rooms
• Two theatres and a prep room
• Spacious staff room for breaks

The Role

This is a varied and hands-on nursing role within a busy first-opinion practice.

Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering exceptional client and patient care
• Supporting surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-operative care
• Nurse-led clinics and Schedule 3 procedures
• Inpatient monitoring and general patient care
• Managing admissions and discharges
• Dispensing and checking medications
