Registered Veterinary Nurse - South West London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the welcoming and well-established hospital team in South West London.

This full-time hospital-based role is ideal for an RVN who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, and wants to further develop their skills within a busy, collaborative hospital setting. The rota includes a mixture of early and late shifts (7:30am–4:00pm or 12:00pm–8:30pm), alternating as part of a full-time schedule.

The hospital is an RCVS-accredited Small Animal Hospital, also accredited for Emergency and Critical Care, offering an excellent environment for clinical progression and exposure to a wide range of advanced cases.

Clinical Exposure

You will be actively involved in:

• Inpatient care and monitoring
• Nurse consults and clinics
• Diagnostic imaging including radiography and ultrasonography
• Advanced procedures including CT, endoscopy, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery
• Emergency and critical care case management

The Team & Facilities

You will be joining a highly experienced and supportive team comprising:

• 7 day vets and 3 night vets
• 7 day RVNs and 2 night RVNs
• 3 SVNs, 4 VCAs and 5 Client Care Assistants

It is a training practice for Student Veterinary Nurses and a graduate vet residency provider, fostering a strong culture of mentoring and professional development.

The hospital is exceptionally well equipped, including:

• CT scanner
• Digital radiography and ultrasonography
• Endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery
• Full in-house laboratory
• Laser surgery and MLS laser
• Dedicated feline ward and theatre
• Staff-only rest and breakout areas
