The practice

• Multi-award-winning, independent multi-site practice on the East Sussex coast
• Digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter monitors and in-house IDEXX lab
• Blood pressure monitors, microscope and urinalysis on site
• Unique one-pet-one-vet model ensuring continuity of care for every patient
• Small, friendly team — 3 vets, 5 nurses and 4 receptionists at this site
• No out-of-hours

The role

• Carry out nurse consultations and assist vets in theatre and consults
• Inpatient care, admissions, discharges and in-house lab work
• Manage work experience students and support SVN clinical coaching
• 4 x 9.25-hour days (37 hours) with Tuesday or Wednesday off, or similar spread over 5 days
• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings — part-time hours also considered
• Lunch breaks ring-fenced wherever possible — or paid if missed
• Overtime rare, but always paid
