Location: Essex
Salary: Up to £31,000 per year
Job Type: Permanent | Full-time

A well-established and newly refurbished small animal practice in Essex is seeking a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly and supportive clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking to develop their skills within a progressive practice that places a strong emphasis on patient care, teamwork and professional development.

The practice is modern and well-equipped, offering a varied caseload and a collaborative environment where nurses are encouraged to fully utilise their clinical skills.

The Practice

Facilities include:

  • In-house laboratory
  • Diagnostic imaging equipment

  • Modern surgical facilities

The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced veterinary and nursing team delivering exceptional care to cats, dogs and small mammals.

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will be a qualified and RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. They will enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team and be committed to maintaining high clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care and nurse-led appointments
  • Carry out Schedule 3 activities
  • Support consultations, surgeries and procedures
  • Monitor patients and manage admissions and discharges
  • Deliver excellent client care
  • Work collaboratively within the wider clinical team
