Veterinary Surgeon – Northamptonshire (Leadership Opportunity)

A locally owned small animal practice in Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join and support the growth of their team. This role is ideal for a vet looking for a leadership challenge, with the opportunity to shape protocols, mentor junior colleagues, and develop their own management skills while delivering high-quality patient care.

The practice is led by an experienced RVN and has a supportive, friendly team including 2 vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, and 4 receptionists. The clinic provides excellent facilities, with access to all the equipment and space needed to care for a variety of small animal patients.

Role Requirements:

• Experienced small animal vet with leadership ambitions
• Passionate about mentoring and team development
• Confident in routine medical and surgical cases
• Full-time hours preferred, with flexibility considered
• Weekend work on a 1-in-3 rota
• Occasional sole charge; no out-of-hours responsibilities
