Registered Veterinary Nurse – Supportive Small Animal Practice

A well-established and recently refurbished small animal practice in Essex is seeking a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly and supportive clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking to develop their skills within a collaborative environment that values clinical excellence, professional growth, and team wellbeing.

The practice is modern and well-equipped, offering facilities including an in-house laboratory, diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, and advanced surgical equipment. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced clinical team providing high standards of care to cats, dogs, and small mammals.

This role offers the opportunity to utilise and develop Schedule 3 skills, run nurse-led clinics, support a varied caseload, and pursue individual clinical interests within a progressive and encouraging practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care across consultations, surgeries, and procedures
• Carry out nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities
• Monitor patients and provide inpatient care
• Manage admissions and discharges
• Deliver excellent client communication and support
• Work collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team

Candidate Requirements

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse
• Passion for exceptional patient and client care
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Motivated to continue learning and developing professionally
