This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, experienced customer-focused Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in Surgery to join the team at a state-of-the-art Barnsley surgery, delivering excellence in clinical care and customer service.

You will be responsible for delivering preventive services, treating sick and injured pets and be able to demonstrate a real passion for promoting pet wellbeing. You will be an excellent communicator, a real team player, integrating well with their wider clinical and non-clinical team members.

Their team comprises of 4 RVNs and 3 Veterinary Surgeons. One of their Veterinary Surgeons has a clinical interest in exotics, and the other is enhancing her imaging skills, so there’s definitely no shortage of interesting cases coming through the doors! They pride themselves on the training and support on offer to students and are delighted to say previous students have joined us on a permanent basis once qualified.

They are constantly working on new initiatives to support skill gaps and to make sure CPD is continuous and happening across all levels in our surgery.

They have workedhard to make sure the practice has a friendly, local neighbourhood feel and havebuilt strong links with the local community through hosting events, fundraisingand delivering educational initiatives.
