A veterinary practice in Norwich is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, experienced team, delivering high-quality care to pets and their owners.

About the Practice
The practice is based in Norwich, a city offering a unique mix of urban life and countryside, with beaches, broads, and city amenities all nearby. The practice operates independently within a larger pet retail environment but maintains its own management and team culture.

The Norwich location has a team of 5 veterinarians (experienced and newly qualified), 6 nurses, veterinary care assistants, and administrative staff. Vets in the team have interests in orthopaedics, imaging, and surgery. The clinic is purpose-built and fully equipped, with strong support for professional development and opportunities for leadership roles. Partnership prospects may be available for the right candidate, and the practice has plans for future expansion.

The Role
The practice seeks a qualified Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with at least 2 years’ small animal experience, though newly qualified or graduate vets will also be considered. Flexibility to occasionally work across other Norwich practices is required.

Key role features:

  • Full-time (39 hours/week over 4 days, 9am–7pm) preferred, part-time considered
  • Weekend rota (1:5 Saturday, 9am–6pm; Sunday, 10:30am–4:30pm) based at another Norwich site
  • No out-of-hours work required
  • Bank holidays worked on a rotation basis
