Veterinary Surgeon - Nottinghamshire

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a recently refurbished, modern small animal practice in Nottinghamshire, ideally suited to a confident clinician comfortable with sole charge. A surgical bias would be welcomed, though this is not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-equipped practice with a varied and interesting caseload.

The Role

• Permanent, full-time position
• 40 hours per week over 4 days
• 1 in 6 weekend rota at a nearby 24-hour hospital
• Part-time and flexible working patterns considered

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering high-quality clinical care during consultations and procedures
• Managing a varied first-opinion caseload, including routine and more complex cases
• Building strong relationships with clients through clear communication and continuity of care
• Preparing accurate treatment plans and cost estimates
• Supporting and mentoring colleagues where appropriate
• Completing thorough clinical handovers and coordinating referrals or OOH care when required

About You

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Confident working independently, including sole charge
• Strong communicator with a client-focused approach
• Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
• Interested in contributing to a progressive clinical culture
