We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a recently refurbished, modern small animal practice in Nottinghamshire, ideally suited to a confident clinician comfortable with sole charge. A surgical bias would be welcomed, though this is not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-equipped practice with a varied and interesting caseload.
The Role
- Permanent, full-time position
- 40 hours per week over 4 days
- 1 in 6 weekend rota at a nearby 24-hour hospital
- Part-time and flexible working patterns considered
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality clinical care during consultations and procedures
- Managing a varied first-opinion caseload, including routine and more complex cases
- Building strong relationships with clients through clear communication and continuity of care
- Preparing accurate treatment plans and cost estimates
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues where appropriate
- Completing thorough clinical handovers and coordinating referrals or OOH care when required

- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident working independently, including sole charge
- Strong communicator with a client-focused approach
- Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
- Interested in contributing to a progressive clinical culture
