Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal Practice

Salary up to £65,000 (DOE, FTE)
Full-time or Part-time | Minimum 20 hours per week

A standalone, forward-thinking small animal practice is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its growing team. This role offers excellent flexibility, strong clinical support, and a positive working environment focused on high-quality patient and client care.

The Practice

The successful candidate will join a bright, spacious, air-conditioned, purpose-built practice designed to industry-leading standards. Facilities include:

  • Dedicated operating theatre
  • Digital X-ray
  • In-house laboratory
  • Ultrasound
  • Rigid endoscopy and laparoscopy
  • Comprehensive dentistry facilities

The practice is progressive, community-focused, and committed to delivering outstanding clinical standards while maintaining a supportive and enjoyable workplace.

The Team

The team is experienced and collaborative, comprising multiple Veterinary Surgeons with advanced skills and certifications, alongside a strong nursing and support team. The practice places great emphasis on teamwork, mentoring, and supporting individual career goals.

The Role

Due to continued growth, the practice is ideally looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is confident in routine consultations and soft tissue surgery.

  • Full-time preferred, but part-time hours considered
  • Flexible working patterns available
  • 20-minute consultations
  • Some sole charge required
  • 1 in 3 or 4 Saturday mornings (9:00am–12:00pm)
  • No out-of-hours, Sundays, or Bank Holidays (except Good Friday)
