An established, locally owned practice in Yeovil is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team. The practice has been serving the local community since 2014 and has retained a consistent team, providing a welcoming and professional environment for both clients and staff.

The practice is RCVS accredited and recognised for excellence in client care and inpatient services. The team includes a practice owner with multiple certificates, an experienced vet with 20 years’ experience and a focus on surgery, a new graduate vet, and a dedicated team of nurses, VCAs, and client care advisors. The culture promotes wellbeing and work-life balance, with organised days, 20-minute consults, early closing several days a week, and no out-of-hours duties. Weekends involve just 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.

The practice is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with a broad range of GP skills who is confident in routine small animal medicine and surgery, enjoys working collaboratively, and has a passion for mentoring. Experience or interest in becoming a Veterinary GDP Advisor is an advantage.

Working Pattern:
Full-time preferred (40 hours/week) but flexible arrangements can be considered. Includes 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, no OOH, and well-structured working days.
