Veterinary Surgeon – Full Time

A large, well-established veterinary practice in Lincolnshire is seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon with a preference for medicine who is happy to carry out minimal surgeries. The practice is well-equipped, professional, and supported by an experienced team.

The Role

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality clinical care, primarily in consults and medicine-based cases, while working collaboratively with an established team of vets, nurses, and support staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional care to patients in consults and surgeries to the highest clinical standards
  • Developing tailored treatment plans with clients
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced team
  • Supporting professional development within the practice and wider network

Practice & Facilities

  • 4 consult rooms and 1 surgical theatre
  • Digital x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopic equipment
  • In-house blood testing
  • Large prep area and modern facilities
  • Supported by a Practice Manager, Lead Vet, HRVN, and strong nursing team

Working Hours & Benefits

  • Full-time: 40 hours over 4 days, with 1 in 6 Saturdays (Ashby centre, 09:00–17:00)
  • No out-of-hours or bank holiday rota (except approx. 1 day/year at 24-hour hospital)
