A large, well-established veterinary practice in Lincolnshire is seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon with a preference for medicine who is happy to carry out minimal surgeries. The practice is well-equipped, professional, and supported by an experienced team.
The Role
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality clinical care, primarily in consults and medicine-based cases, while working collaboratively with an established team of vets, nurses, and support staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional care to patients in consults and surgeries to the highest clinical standards
- Developing tailored treatment plans with clients
- Working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced team
- Supporting professional development within the practice and wider network
Practice & Facilities
- 4 consult rooms and 1 surgical theatre
- Digital x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopic equipment
- In-house blood testing
- Large prep area and modern facilities
- Supported by a Practice Manager, Lead Vet, HRVN, and strong nursing team
Working Hours & Benefits
- Full-time: 40 hours over 4 days, with 1 in 6 Saturdays (Ashby centre, 09:00–17:00)
- No out-of-hours or bank holiday rota (except approx. 1 day/year at 24-hour hospital)
