A well-established small animal practice in Hertfordshire is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension. This opportunity is ideal for a vet looking for the consistency of a longer-term placement while maintaining the variety and autonomy often associated with locum work.
Situated within a busy and established local community, the practice benefits from a loyal client base and a varied caseload, allowing the successful candidate to build strong client relationships and provide continuity of care.
The Role
This position offers:
- 6 months of stable and consistent work within one practice
- Potential for contract extension
- Sole charge responsibility with support from a wider veterinary network
- Opportunity to manage and follow cases through
- A varied caseload with both medical and surgical responsibilities
Working Pattern
- 40 hours per week
- Part-time applications considered
- 1 in 6 weekends or shared Saturday rota
