Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal) – Full Time
Location: Merseyside

An established, community-focused small animal practice in Merseyside is seeking a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and supportive team. The clinic has been recently refurbished and offers a modern, well-equipped working environment.

This opportunity is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon who is comfortable with sole charge and enjoys working within a close-knit team, while still benefiting from the support of experienced colleagues. The practice places a strong emphasis on continuity of care, allowing vets to build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

The Role
This is a full-time position based on a 4-day working week, offering a good balance between consulting and surgery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high standards of clinical care in both consultations and surgical procedures
  • Working in a sole charge capacity with the support of an experienced team
  • Building strong client relationships and providing tailored treatment plans
  • Collaborating with colleagues to maintain excellent clinical and regulatory standards

The role also includes:

  • Weekend rota at a nearby 24-hour hospital (approximately every 6 weeks)
  • Participation in a small number of bank holidays per year
