Location: Wakefield
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time (Part-time considered)

A well-established small animal practice in Wakefield is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and supportive team. The practice has a loyal client base and benefits from close links to a fully equipped 24-hour hospital nearby, providing additional clinical support and access to advanced facilities.

The Practice

The practice is modern and well-equipped, featuring:

  • Three consultation rooms
  • Dedicated surgical theatre
  • Digital X-ray and dental facilities
  • Ultrasound and in-house laboratory equipment
  • Access to external laboratory services and additional clinical support

The team is open to considering candidates with a consult-only or medicine-focused interest, with minimal surgical involvement if preferred.

The Role

  • Full-time position working 40 hours across 4 days per week
  • 1 in 6 weekend rota at a nearby 24-hour hospital
  • Flexible and part-time working options available
