A friendly and thriving small animal veterinary practice in West Yorkshire is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet with a medicine-focused interest who may prefer minimal surgical work, though consult-focused roles can be tailored to suit individual strengths.
The Role
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality clinical care, primarily in consults and medicine-based cases, while supporting and collaborating with a dedicated team of vets, nurses, and support staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional patient care in consults and surgery to the highest standards
- Developing tailored treatment plans with clients
- Working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced team
- Contributing skills and knowledge to support the wider practice community
Practice & Facilities
- Three consult rooms and a dedicated surgical theatre
- X-ray and dental suites
- Digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory with modern analysers
- Access to external laboratory services and clinical support when needed
- Strong links to a fully equipped 24-hour hospital just 20 minutes away
Working Hours & Benefits
- Full-time: 40 hours across 4 days per week
- 1 in 6 weekend rota at the 24-hour hospital
