A well-established small animal practice in West Yorkshire is seeking a compassionate and dedicated First Opinion Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and supportive team.

About the Practice

The practice provides a welcoming and well-equipped working environment, including:

• Three spacious consulting rooms
• Dedicated X-ray suite
• Fully equipped operating theatre
• Separate dental room with dental radiography

The team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care while fostering a positive and collaborative culture.

The practice works closely with a nearby 24-hour hospital, providing access to advanced equipment, excellent facilities, and the support of highly experienced surgeons. This partnership ensures seamless continuity of care and access to a wider clinical network, supporting the very best outcomes for patients.

The Role

Typically, responsibilities will include:

• Delivering exceptional clinical care in consultations and surgery
• Maintaining high standards of regulatory, clinical, and operational compliance
• Developing tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients
• Working collaboratively within a supportive team
• Contributing to shared clinical knowledge and professional development

Working Pattern:

• 1:6 weekend rotation at the 24-hour hospital
• Bank Holiday rotation at the 24-hour hospital

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified MRCVS
• Passion for clinical excellence and outstanding client care
• Strong team player with a collaborative approach
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
