Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and well-established first opinion practice in Worcestershire.
This RCVS-accredited small animal practice prides itself on its supportive team culture and collaborative working environment, offering an enjoyable and positive place to work where every team member is valued. The practice is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a varied caseload and is keen to contribute to a close-knit and welcoming team.
The Role
- Permanent position
- 30–37 hours per week
- Flexible rota across 3 or 4 days per week
- 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am – 2:00pm)
- No out-of-hours or Bank Holiday requirements
The successful candidate will join an experienced and collaborative team consisting of Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs, reception staff, and dedicated practice leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a mix of consultations and surgical procedures
- Undertake occasional sole-charge duties
- Support and mentor veterinary students when required
- Maintain high clinical standards and excellent patient care
- Manage and work up cases with clinical freedom, supported by an experienced team
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
- Be experienced and confident within general small animal practice
- Enjoy both consulting and surgical duties
- Be comfortable with occasional sole-charge responsibilities
- Demonstrate a friendly, supportive, and team-oriented approach
- Hold current RCVS registration

Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £60,000 FTE, depending on experience
