Registered Veterinary Nurse - West London - Part-Time
Job description
An established 24-hour hospital in West London are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a part-time basis.
This role is ideal for an RVN seeking hospital-level nursing in a collaborative environment, working 3 days per week (25.5 hours) with asalary of £21,624 per annum. Flexibility around hours can be discussed for the right candidate.
The Practice
The hospital is modern, spacious and exceptionally well equipped boasting the following facilities:
• Advanced ultrasound
• Laparoscopic stack system
• Endoscopy
• Full in-house laboratory
• Separate dog and cat wards
• Isolation facilities
• Two fully equipped operating theatres
The Role
• Deliver high-quality patient and client care
• Support surgical procedures, including pre and post-operative nursing
• Carry out nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
• Monitor inpatients and provide hands-on nursing care
• Manage admissions and discharges under veterinary direction
• Dispense and check medications accurately
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance and compliance
• Participate in team briefings to support smooth hospital operations
