Registered Veterinary Nurse – Hospital Role

A busy 24-hour veterinary hospital in Greater London is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their supportive and professional team. This role is ideal for a nurse with hospital experience, passionate about clinical excellence and mentoring junior colleagues.
The Role
The successful candidate will work in either wards/inpatient care or surgical nursing, delivering high standards of patient care while supporting a team of RVNs and coaching one of the SVNs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional patient care, including nurse-led appointments and monitoring
- Supporting veterinary consults, surgeries, and procedures
- Managing admissions, discharges, and ongoing patient care
- Providing excellent client care and advice
- Working collaboratively within a large, supportive team
Hospital Facilities & Caseload
The hospital is well-equipped to handle complex and interesting cases, including:
- MRI/CT scans for neurology and advanced diagnostics
- Endoscopy and arthroscopy
- Digital x-ray and ultrasound
- Multi-parameter monitors and in-house blood testing

Working Hours & Benefits
- 4-day working week, with 1 in 6 weekends on a rota
- Salary banding £32,000–£38,000 depending on experience

- RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse
- Hospital experience in surgical or inpatient care preferred
