A well-established and friendly small animal practice in Nottinghamshire is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join its supportive and experienced team. This is a teaching-focused environment, regularly supporting student nurses and veterinary students, making it ideal for a vet who enjoys collaboration and knowledge sharing. The team is experienced, approachable, and committed to supporting one another.

• Fully equipped in-house laboratory
• Digital radiography
• Advanced ultrasound with cardiac probe

The Role

This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week with a structured rota designed to support work–life balance.

Key details include:

• Regular weekday hours with the same day off each week
• 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am–5:00pm)
• No out-of-hours work
• Minimal sole charge, with support readily available
• Opportunity to manage a varied first-opinion caseload

The role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon confident in routine consultations and surgery. Support is available for non-routine procedures, and applications are welcomed from vets holding advanced qualifications, with salary reflective of experience.
