Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal GP Practice

A well-established, award-winning small animal GP practice in Warwickshire is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its growing and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident GP vet looking to work in a progressive, well-organised practice with strong clinical standards and a genuine focus on wellbeing.

The Practice

This RCVS-accredited practice operates to a high GP standard and holds multiple quality accreditations, including cat-friendly and rabbit-friendly status. The practice continues to grow and sees a varied and interesting medical and surgical caseload.

The leadership team is highly experienced and clinically hands-on, with strong interests across general practice, preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, and anaesthesia. They are supported by an experienced management team, a stable nursing team, and dedicated support staff. Mental health and colleague wellbeing are actively prioritised, with trained support available on-site.

The Role

This role is ideally suited to an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a broad range of GP skills who is confident working in sole charge when required and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

Key details include:

  • Full-time role preferred, with flexibility considered
  • Shift patterns between 9:00am–5:00pm and 11:00am–7:00pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays (9:00am–5:00pm)
  • No out-of-hours work
  • 20-minute consultations
  • Structured diary with protected admin time, built-in breaks, and protected lunch
  • Last appointment scheduled to allow timely finishes
